I replaced aspire one keyboard and the key board still do not work. if pulg in a usb keyboard it will work.

If you have an external usb keyboard you can connect that and use that instead. Also you can buy replacement keyboards online Acer Aspire 5735 Keyboard eBay There are also tutorials on line on how install them. Its strange that it just stopped working maybe a short or a driver issue. Also in a pinch you can use the on screen keyboard program windows has build in.

if someome used your latop and spilled someting on the key board it would have gone down under the keys and in to the mother board. take the key board off and see if there is anything wet there or has been wet. if that is what it is you are bumming.

Connect an USB keyboard to your notebook and see if the F11 key works on the USB keyboard.
If the F11 key works then the Acer notebook keyboard is faulty and needs to be replaced.

u have to replace the keyboard at a service center or use usb keyboard

you may have shorted your keyboard (spillage??)

if your laptop is outside warranty you can check the connection to the keyboard, by removing the top bezel, undoing the keyboard retaining screws and then check that the ribbon cable for your keyboard is seated properly, If reseating this cable does not work the you can always order a replacement for your keyboard, you can find the part number for the keyboard you have, it should be printed on a tag on the reverse of the keyboard.

This world be a issue with the main board if you get nothing but neeping on both inputs, how about trying a usb keyboard to see if that shores it up if not you going to need service on this Acer..

please check with external key board
if it works ,then need to change the key pad

Try attaching an external keyboard to a USB port on the computer. If it works.

The keyboard cable is probably loose.
