I have been trying to connect my LG-P970 to the internet but no use because I need to enter proxy data and I can't find anything called proxy in the options

my lg p970 is showing only lg logo but can not start

APN: Go to MENU, SERVICES, DATA ACCOUNTS, GPRS, create NEW SETTINGS.1. if your globe sim card is not yet activated for inet, then configure it manually.. go to connectivity then go to access points, make a new one and name it Globe inet..then on the APN put this "http.globe.com.ph" without the "
2. then after that, go to internet profiles, make a new profile and name it globe inet.. name it Globe inet. then choose to use a proxy.. then enter this proxy address "203.177.91.131".. and then it the proxy server port, put "80".. then on the access point choose Globe inet..

3. now you need to make another internet profile.. so make a new one. name it "proxy".. then choose to use proxy, and then enter this proxy "195.189.142.132" then on the proxy server port put "80"..then on the access point put Globe inet..
4. ok now your done configuring your globe inet settings,. next step is to go to games and apps, then choose settings, then choose profiles, and add profile.. name the profile "proxy". then on the internet profile choose "proxy" then save it and activate it..

Go to settings, wireless networks, access points and then hit menu button then add access point and enter same address as the one that you are currently connected to then select the access point you just made and problem should be solved, reason why is there was a default proxy, this should fix your problem

(How to get there? Open settings - Network - APN/Access point - New apn).

On internet settings try this first: Usually works but not always. Under are SMARTs own settings.

To Setup the Access Point

1. Go to the Main Screen
2. Select Menu (the 4 dot button)
   
3. Select the Settings tab
4. Select Connectivity
5. Select Access Points
   
6. Select Add access point
   
7. For the Connection name enter The Name for the connection. Use the default or make up your own.

8. Set Authentication to This option varies on devices but typically is similar to the setting provided.

9. For the Username enter The Username for the connection provided by the Carrier.

10. For the Password enter The Password for the connection provided by the Carrier.

To Setup the Internet Profile

     Note the proxy only needs to be on if using the Alternate settings

9. For the Proxy server address enter The Server address to use for the connection.

   Some devices require the address in the format of 000.000.000.000. (ex: 011.012.013.014)

11. Set the Access point to the profile created above

To Setup the Browser Profile

4. Select Browser
5. Select Settings

7. Select Add profile
   
8. For the Title enter The Name for the connection. Use the default or make up your own.

9. For the Homepage enter Can be set to anything if an Internet Plan is on the account such as www.google.com

11. Select Save
12. Select Yes to Activate

The PXT settings can usually be found under Message Settings - MMS setting. You also need to send a message before you can receive one.

it needs to be setup through them!

• Connection Mode: TCP with proxy
