Try uninstalling and reinstalling the software that came with the MP3 player. If that does not work, try plugging in the MP3 player before you boot the machine up, then boot it. If the machine won't then boot up, it could be because it's trying to read the device as a hard drive. You'd then need to change the boot settings on your machine, or atleast check them over. Thats happened to me before.

Dont recognize to my pc

Try plugging it into a different usb port on the computer. If it does not work, try using a usb adapter to plug in to the usb port. It may also help if you restart the computer and connect it again. If this does not solve the problem, then the usb of the walkman mp3 player got fried which is due to improper disconnecting procedure of the mp3 from the computer; so make sure when removing any mp3 device, do a "safely remove" procedure.

El problema es no enciende, ni la pc. lo reconoce. gracias ante mano

Try restarting your computer after connecting your player, leaving your player plugged in while you do. Pruebe a reiniciar el equipo después de conectar su reproductor, dejando a su reproductor conectado mientras lo haces.
Open "my computer" and look for the icon of the player..it may come up as "Removable disk". Abra 'Mi PC' y busque el icono del reproductor .. que puedan surgir como "Disco extraíble".

How do I charge the battery in my Lexas MP3 player. I thought all I had to do was plug it in to my computer and it would charge that way. But that doesn't seem to work. Do I need software or something?

Just need the drivers downloaded. You can usually get them from there website. Just download the drivers, then double-click on the file once downloaded so it installs into your pc. Then restart your pc, then plug in your mp3 player and you should be good to go!

I cannot format my mp3 player using properties/format so it will work on windows media player via fat32 or fat.

restart your PC, plug mp3 player into PC. Go to my computer> right click> explore. On the right windows menu, right click the mass storage (mp3)> choose format (quick format would be faster). Good Luck

My sandisk clip screen just went blank and won't turn back i was plugging it into the charger when it happened even though it was still half way charged.

did you try restarting/refreshing it? if you did, ask yourself: did you restart/turn off the computer AT ALL during this time? then, the solution is clear.

try restarting the computer with the player plugged in. or restart the player its-self (try this first)

My GPX mp3 player says MTP?

MTP stands for Media Transfer Protocol. If you did not run your installation CD BEFORE plugging the mp3 player into the computer, Windows XP and higher will read it as an MTP Device. As long as the player does not cause you problems, there is nothing wrong with your computer calling it that. If this is a problem: unplug the mp3 player from the computer, uninstall all software for that player, restart computer, reinstall allsoftware from installation CD, restart computer, then plug mp3 player into computer. Good luck!

No connection

Make sure that the MP3 player has a fresh battery if it isn't a rechargeable battery through your USB port. Second, try switching the cables from 1 USB to another. If that doesn't work, plug it into the USB and shut down the PC and restart it. It very well may pick it up from that point.
