Hi above is a link for a service and repair manual should you wish to DIY, however this is usually due to an internal motherboard problem and really there is NO DIY, Accordingly, the very best thing you can do is take it to an HP printer repair place and ask ONLY first for a "Quote" as to costings and go from there. This way at least you can then make up your mind as to repair or replace?

HP Officejet Pro K8600 CARRIAGE STALLED

Hi,

Make sure that you have tried the steps in the following web link:

https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c01287261

If the issue persists, then this is a hardware issue. From my experience Carriage Stalled errors are usually due to a hardware failure.

Dear sir i have some problem with hp printer k8600. i have fefill the yellow ink then it still can't print yellow ink, then i take the both print head and clean it ,after i insert it back to the...

The solution to your problems maybe on RESETTE SETTINGS. The maximum prints that your printer can printed or provide has reach the limit already. Bring your printer to its service center, they have the special software program to resette settings of your printer back to 0. Also, check the printer properties and see what are the possible solutions to your problem offered there. Good Luck!

My hp officejet pro k8600 won't print straight.

When the paper does not feed straight, dirty or stickyrollers can cause it to jamb or crinkle, also failure to remove all traces ofpaper from a previous paper jamb will cause further paper jambs.
The rollers may be dirty or sticky and causes the paper tonot feed straight.
Try cleaning the rollers with methylated spirits.

I have recently been given a HP K8600 which I am told works perfectly except for the front paper feed. It is fine using the rear feed. is it aproblem that can be repaired or do I just use the rear feed?

Well, my guess is, it could be the roller foot or a belt. If you are comfortable taking things apart and putting them back together, it may not be tough to fix, but finding replacement parts may be tougher than actually installing them.

Typically, the paper feeders work by a belt that turns a roller, the roller has a rubber foot on it, this rubber foot grips the sheet of paper when the paper is pressed to it (in many models there is a "lifter" that does this.

You can try with the front feeder and see what it does. In most cases if you look closely you can see the printer working in action. When you try to print something, does the rubber foot spin? does the paper get lifted? (or the foot lowered to the paper) If the paper is applied to the "foot" and the foot spins, and the foot can't grab the paper, it could just be a worn out rubber foot. If you can find a replacement, that may be the simplest thing. But really overall, if you are fine using the rear feeder, it may not be worth playing with unless you want a project.
