There could be 3 reasons for it. 1 The sound driver is not loaded/activated. You may have to load it again. 2 The volume switch is on MUTE. Check on this by clicking the speaker icon on the task bar. 3 The volume switch is placed on the bottom low position.
For my information were you getting sound earlier????????

No sound to speakers

This is pretty easy to troubleshoot. First plug something else into the speakers to make sure they work. (cd player, phone, gameboy ect.). If the speakers don't come on make sure they are getting power. There should be a light on the speakers to varify they are getting power. If the speakers do work when you plugged them into something else, plug them back into the computer and make sure you are plugging them in the right portal. A common mistake is plugging them into the mic jack. Look for a small pair of head phones next to the jack on the back of the computer. Plug them in and go to your volume control on the bottom right of your computer screen. Turn that up. This should fix you problem...if not, you may have an issue with your computer.

No headphone sound, but internal speaker works fine.

Hello,

Hello,

It is because that your internal speaker is the default play back device other than your head phone or external speaker.

Need to go to your sound setting.

Depend on your operating system, click Start, then click Control panel, then click Hardware and Sound, click Sound.

Under Playback tab, select your external speaker or head phones as default device.

No sound

try rolling back the driver,or go online to update it...."sound driver"maybe it is the jack plug outlet.....as a quick check, turn the system sound nearly right down, and quickly plug in your headphones into the jack outlet,if you hear anything through the head phones"not wearing them"then its the lead and jack on your speakers..
