Stop continual printer printer alignment hp 8500

The foam padding under the print head slide rail had lifted slightly catching the underside of the print head, which in turn causes the alignment to fail.

We'll you will not b the first or the last to have this issue with hp the printer won't stop because the mechanical motor driver is telling it to keep going therefore your printer is not working and wil not work maybe try to delete the printer software from your PC make sure u have the driver disc if not it can b found on the hp website and downloaded then reinstall they could have a new firmware or driver update good luck peace ,,

Printer wont do the alignment process if we replaced the cartridges, might be removed/re inserted the printer heads, then ply it process the alignment, if the print head nozzles are clogged, alignment process wont completes..
>Remove the print heads clean the nozzles with tissue paper gently at nozzles.

first of all disconnect the power cable from the back of the printer
press and hold the power button for 20-30 seconds
reconnect the power cable turn onn the printer
if you still get the same mesage , follow the steps mentioned in the URL below

Replaced printhead. Problem seems to be solved. Will know more after see how long this printhead lasts.
