Owner of a GR10 Coffeemaker

I have my second Bunn and I have had nothing but trouble with it. I lived with the mess for a long time and then I just couldn't stand it any longer. In the very beginning it leaked water threw the basket. I would have coffee spewed all over the counter so I called Bunn and they sent me a little cap thing that screwed in the distribution hole. Now it takes forever and a day to just flow threw and it leaks in the back of the unit now. I have loved Bunns for years and I hate to give it up but I can't seem to get any help. I also know to use the Bunn filters but that doesn't help either. I am really frustrated to spend so much money on something and have all this trouble. I would appreciate any help I can get. Sincerely desparate for coffee fast,

Jamee Parker Mc Leod, Texas

Take the spray head off, should have 5 holes clean it out and run the cleaning spring through where the spray head screws to.

My Bunn coffee filter overflows during brewing. What a mess! Is there any way to slow down the water flow?

If this is a pour-over coffeemaker, you can't do anything about the flow. It's just gravity pushing the water out of the reservoir. But you can try using a coarser grind of coffee. If the grind is too fine (if you grind whole beans for too long in a blade grinder, for instance, or if you're using espresso grind coffee), the water can't flow through quickly enough and it backs up and overflows. Make sure your coffee is ground for a drip coffeemaker.

Warmer on my bunn gr10-w works but the brewer switch seems to do nothing. I can't see any problems in wiring but was searching for a wiring diagram. Is there a part that could take this circuit out?

Either the solenoid (water inlet valve) is bad or the switch.

when you hit brew button chek for voltage across the solenoid .If voltage is present then replace the solenoid

if no voltage there then replace the switch

Yes Bunn will send you a repair kit free of charge. Just apply a bead of silicon below the rubber gasket before you tighten it down and it will solve the problem.

The only place I know of that you might be able to find a replacement tray for this style of brewer is from your local Bunn repair shop IF they have a used unit laying around that died from something else. Bunn will not even send out these parts to their repair centers. Good luck!!

Your brewer has a 3 year warranty. If you will call customer service with the model and code date and it is less than 3 years old, we will replace it with a new machine at no cost. If it is over 3 years old, we will replace it at a reduced price.
