Talk time is a product name what we really need is the network provider name for example voda phone. If it is voda phone see http://www.vodafone.com.au/business/welcome/handset-setup/setup-email
If it is a desktop p.c. then the internet provider will have instructions on their web site under support on how to set up email. Or you can phone them and explain you need your email setup and they should be able to help you over the phone. If you are using a desktop p.c somehow with a mobile network such as Vodaphone then the link above will give some clues as to the name of the POP server and SMTP server.
If its a windows supported card Windows will install drivers. If not than you will need to download from manufacturer with other computer that has network
Acquiring network address (Limited or no connectivity)
1.Check whether you are typing the correct key
2.Remove the preferred networks
3.Disable WLAN/LAN and Enable it
4.Assign static IP address in the range of modem
5.Add the network manually with the security settings
You need too set up a totally new network.goto networks, click setup new network and follow the instructions. You will need the password for the livebox and more than likely need to call your network provider. If you have a desktop pc in the building its probably easier to set up a Home network
There is not a lot of information to work with here. First of all, the computer is a desktop. Do you have a PCI or USB wireless card installed? You need a wireless network adapter in order to access your wireless.
Next, do you have a wireless router? If not, you need one to provide something for the wireless clients to connect to. If you do, you need to take note of the SSID, or wireless network name. This is the name that the Compaq desktop will be connecting to (with it's wireless network adapter.
In regards to the router, did you setup WEP or WPA wireless encryption? If so, Windows will ask for the key or passphrase to connect to your network and must be typed in identically to how it was setup in your router.
Something else to consider, if you do use WPA for encryption, some older wireless cards do NOT support it and if you insist on using encryption, use WEP.
Whether you are using a notebook or a desktop PC you have to run windows network setup wizard. The PC & notbook must have a wireless network card installed inorder to connect to the wireless router. Though most people who use a desktop PC hook directly to the the wireless router through a Rj45 cat5 or cat6 patch cable. Reason being a desktop PC is less likely to be moved around. Read & follow instruction while in network setup wizard. Windows does most of the work for you. One suggestion. If you do not setup security for you're wireless, anyone near you will ba able to tab into you're wireless network & steal you're signal. You will be asked to setup a password. (Do not loose you're password)!
Start with the simplest answer first so make sure the laptop's WiFi is turned on.
If you have set the router to provide a closed network your laptop will not see it automatically and you will need to enter the WiFi network settings in network setup. if you are using Windows click start, click control panel and click network, on the left hand sidebar you will see "Setup a Small or Home Office Network", follow the wizard and you should be able to get connected. If you are using Mac OS X click the Airport icon on your menu bar, click "other network" and enter the SSID, select the encryption type and enter the network key (password).
Lastly make sure that if you have chosen to use an access control list you have entered and allowed your laptop's MAC address in the list before trying to connect.
