Maytag electric oven model cwe5800acb. The lower element in the upper oven will not heat up. Can the lower element be replaced without removing the oven from the wall.

Yes, replace the lower element by first turning off the circuit breaker to the oven (110V is still to half of the 220V element circuit even though the oven setting is turned off), then unscrew the two screws holding the element to the back wall of the oven, then pull the element out (may have to tug it a bit to get the connectors through the insulation), and pull the wire connector clips off the element.

I want to use the self cleaning feature but have lost the manual can you tell me the procedure to follow would it be possibel to obtain an instruction manual thank you

Hi and welcome to FixYa. I am Kelly.
Go to this site:
http://www.maytag.com/support/manuals_literature.jsp
Enter your model number CWE5800A
It will ask you what kind of visitor you are... enter that in the drop down menu (Consumer)
There ae 9 manuals for this unit... the alpha letters after 5800 of your model number are what will determine which manual you down load.

The first manual for model CWE5800ACB is here:
http://shared.whirlpoolcorp.com/assets/pdfs/literature/Use%20and%20Care%20Guide%20-%20W10169639.pdf

Self clean steps are on page 9 of the manual. Make sure you read the steps "Before Self-Cleaning" It will tell you to remove the racks and some other important steps.
Thanks for choosing FixYa,
Kelly

Its a Maytag wall oven and I need to replace the operating panel

usually you take off the handles with screws and the front panel is screwed to the door or held on by clips or brackets.

Cleaned bottom oven. Top oven door won't open

Hi,
Cycling the power off and then on again will sometimes reset it...often you will have to call the customer service number to get the steps to take to unlock that...

Kitchen Aid Superba Double Oven

Remove the oven from the wall. Remove the rear panel.
The upper and lower ovens have a non-resettable thermal fuse that has blown.
Use a VOM to verify which fuse. After repair use Easy Off, not self clean.
