Acer Aspiere message says Windows could not finish configuring the system. How do I fix this or get past this

If you received recovery cd's / dvd's or any other restore discs with the laptop you should use them and restore the machine to its original state. If you don't have any such discs you can try pressing ALT and F10 while you turn on the power to the pc repeatedly to see if it starts a the build in recovery feature.

if you can't get the machine to work and you don't have any discs, you should take it to a professional to get it sorted, also if you any any important documents on the machine recovery may delete them from your pc.

You can reset windows 7 password with Smartkey Windows Password Recovery Enterprise, just need 4 steps to reset lost Windows 7 password.

Step1: Download Windows Password Recovery Enterprise and install on any available PC.
Step2: Burn Windows 7 password reset CD/DVD or USB to reset lost Windows password.
Step3. Set your locked pc BIOS to boot from CD/DVD-ROM or USB Flash Drive.
Step4. Reset lost Windows 7 password to Re123456 together with the burned CD/DVD or USB Flash Drive.

My acer aspire 5315 cd/dvd disappeared from my computer, i try to find it on device manager is not there too. i tried to restart the computer, nothing happened, also i put a disc in the drive to see if it...

If it isn't detecting it when you reboot then it sounds like the cdrom itself died. You'll need to replace it with a new one or get an external one that runs on USB.

This model of computer does not have a blu-ray drive unless you got a third party upgrade. In this case, you will need to track down special drivers, which can best be done by whomever sold you the drive.

I have an Acer Aspire 5315 laptop. When I bought it, it included a DVD-burning program. Naturally, I assumed I could write a DVD on this, but I don't seem to be able to. I am using a DVD+R disc.

Saddly not all are what they appear to be , had similar prob myself.

Try burning a CD with this prog. Its a naughty way of getting you to upgrade. Fingers crossed!

Your screen sounds fine, most likely just your backlight going out, either that or you could have hit the key for using an external monitor (function f6 is the LCD/external monitor switch for my computer). I'd look into the function f6 and play around with that, if not you can just buy a new backlight from ebay or an internet supplier.
