click start control panel scroll to folder options tick in the show hidden files folders and drives circle
this may vary depending on your operating system
connected your iPod it should be recognised by your computer
click start click on computer you should see your iPod
click on it to open Ipod go to Ipod controls Device
there will be a folder saying locked right click on it select rename it to open or delete
your iPod should now be open
