My Olympus FE-170 won't upload pictures.

So, I've had this camera for quite some time now. And it's always worked perfectly fine in the uploading picture department. But I think it was about last month it started doing something strange. Everytime I plug my USB chord in, it uploads pictures. Weird right? No...The weird part is it's uploading pictures I deleted MONTHS ago. WHAT'S UP WITH THAT?!?!. Well, the part the grinds my gutter is that the pictures I've taken recently and actually WANT to upload, don't show up. I don't know what my cameras major additude problem is, but I'm not pleased. So, if you know how to fix this problem...or think I should just take my camera out back and shoot it. Let me know :]

Format your camera's internal memory and also format any memory cards you insert.
Use a program called Recover4All to see exactly what is in your camera's internal memory.
Then insert a memory formatted memory card and take some pictures. see if they will upload.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

How to make Windows7 recognize Olympus FE-170... At this moment I don't have a card reader. I've tried so many times by dl the proper software, but still it won't recognise it. Isn't there...

The easiest solution is a cheap $5 card reader available online or from a local walmart. If you don't want to do that, you can check the olympus website's download section to see if they've issued new software or driver's for your model and Window's 7.

I am trying to upload my pictures from my olympus FE-330 but every time i try uploading them to my computer it either says empty folder or no new files were found. But yet i can look through the pictures...

plug in the camera and then go to start>programs>accessories>microsoft camera and scanner wizard and you will be able to copy all the pictures. If you need further assistance let me know.

I cannot upload my pictures to pc

I've had frequent problems uploading pics from both of the 2 olympus cameras I've owned. In both cases reinstalling the software solved the problem.

I have an olympus stylus 820 camera . it was working perfectly fine all night last night . then me and my boyfriend were wewalking for about 20 -30 min in the freezing cold and then when i tried to use it...

LCD FOR OLYMPUS FE-170 BROKEN CAN IT BE REPAIRED

my olympus FE-170 screen won't show any picture. All other things are fine and working the screen just won't show pictures taken or a picture i'm aout to take. the camera is about 2 years old i've had no problems with it till now. Can someone pleeeaaasssse tell me their is an easy solution to this.

Hey dramaqueen79,
It sounds like you have internal damage to the camera. I would have it looked at be an authorized service center. If you are fine with the performance of the camera and all you want to do is be able to upload your images you could purchase a card reader(for an xd memory card) that connects to a usb port, and upload your images directly to your computer with the card reader.
