Solution: Turn off and unplug machine. Wait a minute. Turn machine on and wait until it stops making any noise. Now try to pull out the drawer. If this does not work, try the procedure again. If this does not work, call customer service
Regards Kat (please leave feedback, many thanks)
The gears inside are clogged with coffee grounds. The machine will need to be taken apart carefully, and the gears cleaned of the coffee. I just did mine a C3000, and you will have to be careful to remember how all the parts go back together. This takes a T15 hex key for the screws. Good luck.
See post on Cuisinart customer service. The tube can be purchased at Lowes. Clear vinyl 1/2" O.D., 3/8" I.D. The compression clamp will have to be replaced as well.
I used a 1/2" hose clamp available at any auto parts store.
As long as you have the receipt or if you paid with a credit/debit card, Target should replace it. I had to return my original one, got a new one, and now it's on the fritz too.
