The default is for automatic restarts which does not let you see the error message. Power off your computer, turn it on; immediately hit F8 several times a SECOND; You'll get a screen that will have a number of options, one of which is turn off automatic restart. Check that.
Now you will get a "blue screen" message that will help diagnose the real problem.
Hope this information will help.
Your response is very much appreciated. Thank you for using Fixya...

Error message when trying to play video in netflix copyright issue

upon restarting your computer keep tapping f8 until you get a boot screen, go down to disable restart upon system failure. then try to go to netflix after it boots. if it fails again, the blue screen will stay on the screen. more than likely it's saying you don't have enough memory to stream the movies.

The ACER Aspire 5610Z is stuck, upon rebooting, on the large ACER Intel window. I push the start button for a length of time, and it won't restart. What else can I do? The problem arose upon a reboot after...

Try booting into safe mode. When the computer is just starting, tap the F8 key and keep tapping it until the safe mode options come up. Select "Last Known Good Configuration" and let it continue booting from there. Once inside Windows, check Windows Update to see if your computer had tried to install update KB977165. This recent update has been known to cause problems in XP, including the dreaded BSOD (Blue Screen of Death), due to malware infections. You may want to try the ESET online scanner on your machine and possibly Malwarebyte's Antimalware, available at www.download.com. Always keep running the scans until your computer comes up clean.

How do i open the case of the hp Pavilion dv7 laptop

It could be a spyware issue. I'd suggest selecting Setup (usually F2) upon boot and see if the video displays so you can change the BIOS to boot from a CD. Then, boot from the Windows Recovery CD. Also, try F8 and choose Safe Mode to see if it will boot. Then, check back with FixYa if you need additiional help. Good luck.
