HP 7410 blue screen, on off symbol, lots of zeros

I have the same problem described by ben0375. First, the printer stopped printing double-sided. So I restarted it, and the screen went blue and all it has is the on off symbol and an error message with zeros. Also, the camera light is flashing. Is this fixable or is that it? I tried all the fixes I read here that involved pressing two keys and it doesn't respond.

Thanks for your help!

I have HP Officejet 7410. It has the bluescreen with the number 00000020 under a circle sign and the camera light is flashing. Any hints of what to do? I diconnected the wi fi. I tried the numbers in every sequence possible. Turned it on and off. Removed the plug, plugged into different outlet. Help!

SOURCE: I can't print. The printer has a blue screen with an error message: Error:0xc1ab0001.

Use the instructions below to resolve the issue by restarting the product.

  1. Disconnect the Universal Serial Bus (USB) cable from the back of the product, but leave the product turned on.
  2. Open the cover of the product and remove the print cartridges.
  3. Close the cover and wait for the Insert Ink Cartridges message to display.
  4. Disconnect the power cord from the back of the product and wait for one minute.
  5. Reconnect the power cord. If the product does not automatically turn on, press the Power button.
  6. Open the cover and reinsert the print cartridges.
  7. Close the cover. If prompted, print a calibration page.
  8. Reconnect the USB cable, and try to print a print job from the computer.

HP 7410 will not boot. It powers up and the HP logo screen flashe

This was solved really well on this blog. It is some problem with the wifi board. If you disconnect it (no so hard and well explained on the blog) you will have network printing over a cable but no wireless.

The second page prints upside down when printing on two sided

Are you attempting to print a double sided page? If so then on your Vista pcs you should set it in the printing preferences to print double-sided whenever you need to print.
Do not give command for two-sided printing from other programs such as Adobe reader or Microsoft Word etc.

7310 wont print

u have to clear the sent job, go to printers and faxes through your start menu, if u cant find it there, go to control panel, double click on the printer and faxes icon, on the pop up window, double click to open the printer then select all the jobs and empty the box, then you can start using again, make sure the printer is off while doing that.

Can't find the $ symbol on the 7410 officeject

I looked through the manual and on page 112 it lists the characters available. It seems the $ symbol isn't available, so you can't enter it. You can download a copy from HP here if you've misplaced your copy. The manual makes mention of an on-screen keyboard you can pick from. Maybe the symbol is there. I don't have one of these, so I can't check it for myself.

Hp 7410 printer install cd error message for vista operating syst

The original CD shipped with the Officejet 7410 had drivers for XP but not Vista. You can download the full featured driver from HP's website here.

There is an issue with the duplexer, in Vista it will print with the back side upside down ("flip page up") regardless of the driver settings. To correct this you can request a patch as described here.
