Either the video codec or the audio codec is unsupported, or one of the streams in a video file is corrupted.

What is the xbox 360 status code 69-C00D3E9A? i get this when sreaming mp4 videos from my pc using traversity through the xbox. some will play others i get this code.

I think the content is too high definition. If you're using component, like i am, it plays the lower resolution videos just fine, but higher resolution videos won't play. But when it's connected to an LCD tv, it works just fine? Must be that.

We have an xbox, and some movies that are on our computer wont play on the xbox and i get this status code for them: 69-807B0194 and 69-C00D36BE and it says that its unsupported. i was wondering if there...

According to the Xbox website, it means the format of the video is NOT supported. You will need to convert the video format into a type accepted by the Xbox.

Cant play movie from my pc to xbox. status code 69-807b0191

This error is most commonly associated with a sharing permission problem on the PC. What you need to do is go to the video you want to play (or the folder it's contained in), right click on it and click the "Share" option. This will bring up a new window with a drop down menu. Pull down the menu and select "Everyone (all users in this list)" and then click the "Share" button at the bottom. After it saves all of the settings you should be able to go to your Xbox and play the video.

A good guide to sharing with the 360 can be found here :

I get an error code - unplayable content status code- 69-80072741 and I cna't watch a large selection of movies on my computer's network. please help

When is the last time you updated your Xbox through Xbox Live, this often means that a video codec isn't supported on the Xbox and can be solved a lot of the time through the updates.

Cant play an mp4 file, status code: 69-C00D119A

MP4 files are encrypted from Itunes. I know that you can convert them to mp3 and then play them on your Xbox 360.

Cant stream avi files anymore to xbox360

There may be an update that you require, either that or your poor lil Xbox has contracted an illness, i would try and leave it off for a while, then try again. And also, go through your sons xbox and compare it with what you have on your settings. If anything is different, that may be your problem!

How to make it play the movie

I had the same problem playing video from a data disc, code 69-8007045d. I made the exact same video file play by (1) adding .avi file extension to the file name (i.e. "videofile" renamed: "videofile.avi") and (2) putting it in a folder with the exact same name (videofile.avi). Same video file, didn't have to transcode to .wmv which degrades vid quality. Simple solution, but it worked. This is also the key to displaying a picture file as the icon instead of the generic "filmstrip" pic that displays by default. Just name the picture file the same name as the video and folder (i.e. "video.avi"). This has even worked with divx and xvid encoded videos when I've tried. My guess as to why this happens is that MS doesn't want to be legally or financially responsible for their hardware being used to play protected content, which is also why the status code 69-8007045d doesn't appear anywhere on their official website. Good luck.
