What caused heat to stop working?

same answer on all cars. nice photo, so rare here, shocking that.
in order,......
1: sure the blower must blow.
2: the engine must get to min. 180F , if not, thermostat bad in engine.
3: ok, engine is hot, so the heater core must get hot next. it has 2 hoses, we feel them with hands, are both hot?, yes, then the core is most-likely hot. (inside) (if not core is packed in gunk inside)
ever do 2year cooling flushes< (oops. zero service lands you here)
4: the controls must open the dampers, if not? bad controls
5: if the controls work and dampers fail, then the dampers are bad.

all answers assumes , cooling system full to top of RAD.
your car uses 3 damper motors. (electric)
that operate them by controls
the motor for temp is called temperature actuator motor.
the controller is called HVAC controller
did you scan the PLC to see if HVAC controller has errors.
the controller needs fuse 15 good. Cab fuse box ."hvac-rfa"
the controller use a network, data comm .
if you scan the PCM and it tells you the HVac comms are dead
what do you know? (means you cant fix it)
its not just a simple switch like in 1990 (gone)
its all computer controlled now.

26094348-k5quzreiqde4k1egefe3gt0o-2-0.jpg
check fuse first
scan 2nd.
like we do on all modern cars, or , its all just a guessing game.

Fisher & Paykel Washing machine Intuitive Eco Error 130 then Error 136

Hi - Faults 130-136 means there are some serious comm problems - motor stalls etc. The most likely cause would be the RPS Senor - has failed or loose, corroded, bad wiring connections.

This is under the machine - tilt on its back, remove the center round rotor has magnets on the inside be careful it stays clean. there are 4 bolts in the middle - remove to get stator off with all the copper wounded contraption, remove the wiring - not to worry too much but note on the stator Y_B_R relates to colours on wire harness, note also the harness & RPS component. replace this assemble & should work fine unless the controller is a dud.

95% of the time this is your culprit.... Part # 438515P I think for these range - pays to check 1st - You need to quote the Product nuber as this is critical to the components under the hood if you get my drift.

What does it mean when your load stops and the screen says "F1"?

Hi

Error Code F1 means that the control is either bad or the wiring harness to the control has some issues. Please check the control board for any bad components as you might need complete replacement of the control. Please get back to me if you have any other questions.

PROBLEM DRIVERS

Go to the Holux support website at:
http://www.holux.com/JCore/en/support/downloadCenter.jsp

NOTE: All quote marks are added by me for emphasis only.

Under the "Select products Catagory" dropdown choose "GPS Receiver/Data Logger".
Under the "Select products series" dropdown choose "Mouse Type GPS Receiver" and

click on Submit. A new page opens showing various receivers. Scroll down to the GR-213u

GPS Receiver and see the one called "GR-213u Driver Program-Vista Driver". It is of a type

of file compression called "rar" which may require a unzip program. I use a free program,

"Secure Zip for Windows". Click on the little yellow box at the far right of the "GR-213u

Driver Program-Vista Driver" line. It will be labeled "9618869.rar". Save the file.
It should be found by clicking on the Vista START and then your user name & should be in

the "Downloads" folder as "9618869.rar".
Creat a new folder for the actual unzipped file by clicking on the the Vista START Icon

& then "Documents". Click on the "Organize" tab & then on the dropdown "New Folder".
Name the new folder "Holux Vista Drvr" & then open it.
Now back at the "Downloads" folder open (Unzip) the "9618869.rar" file. Copy the new

folder "GR-213u Driver Program-Vista Driver" to the "Holux Vista Drvr" folder you created

in "Documents", so that you can later delete all those files that may have built up in

"Downloads"folder from doing lots of downloading.
Open the "GR-213u Driver Program-Vista Driver" folder & see the setup file

"PL2303_Prolific_Vista_3301.exe". The size should be about 2724 KB. Open it to start the

driver install. Now you are almost done.
After Vista has done its driver install, go to "Control Panel" & open "Device Manager".

Now plug in your Holux GR-213 & the "Device Manager" should now show a new entry

called "Ports (COM & LPT). Click on the little + sign to expand it & you should see

"Prolific USB-to-Serial Comm Port (COM#)". The # represents your Comm Port number

used by the Holux. Right click on "Prolific USB-to-Serial Comm Port (COM#)" & click on

the dropdown "Properties". Click on the tab "Port Settings"at the top of the "Properties"

window. Change the value in "Bits per second" from 9600 to 4800 & click OK.
Hopefully you have installed the Holux Utility "GPS Viewer" with a shortcut on the

desktop. Open the "GPS Viewer" & click on "Scan". A new window "GPS Scanning" opens

showing GPS found at the same Comm Port # that shows in the "Device Manager". Click on

OK & the scan window closes now showing the same Comm Port#. Click on "Open GPS" &

then on "Cold Start or Warm Start" & all the satellites found should show up. You can close

the "GPS Viewer" & all the other open windows. If all went as described any software you

used with Win XP using GPS should work OK now with Vista.
Now run your software (MS S&T or whatever) & make sure its GPS Settings show the same

Comm Port# as in "GPS Viewer" & baud rate of 4800.
