Can't get into voicemail system from extension on user's desk; asks for a password which we haven't set up as the person is new. Need to set up a new voicemail box/password. Vendor who sold system to us is of no assistance.
Go back to your vendor and get the password for mailbox 999 and the instructions to log into it.
The mailbox exists or it wouldn't ask for a password (they're assigned by default), so you need to go to mailbox 999 and chose option 6 1 3 which is mailbox administration reset password. That will clear the password and you can log into the voice mail automatically from the extension by dialing the voice mail access code.
