Welcome to FixYa.

It is either the battery is not charged properly or the battery is worn out already, meaning that it cannot hold the power anymore.

Replace the battery.

Thank you for using Fixya.

Camera turns right off when turned on

This could be due to a stuck lens motor or bad battery contacts. This could be brought to a camera shop for repair for under $35 bucks. I suggest you have a professional look at it before trying it yourself, Thanks for using Fixya.com.

Samsung L730 wont extend lens and dosent turn on right

Try removing the batteries and memory card. Let the camera set for awhile. Put the batteries back in but not the memory card, restart the camera. Does it work know? If it does, turn the camera off put the memory card back in. Turn the camera on, does it work now? If it doesn't, replace the memory card.

Camera self- diagnostic doesn't work

I had this exact problem when I had not used my camera for some time. For me the solution was to take out the flash card, and turn on the camera while pressing the flash button. This allowed me to run the self diagnostic test (which were ok by the way), and then after turning the camera off and on again it worked!
