You need to access the setup page of your Belking router and go to the wireless setup, look fro Use as Access Point, now just a reminder this will defeat the NAT IP sharing feature of the router. Configure the IP address of the router to the same subnet as the network your tying to bridge here's the more detailed procedure:

1. Enable the AP mode by selecting "Enable" in the Use Access Point only page. When you select this option you can now change the IP Settings.

2. Set your IP settings to match your network. Click "Apply Changes"

3. Connect a cable from the LAN port of the router to your existing network.

I want to know if there is a receiver that will allow me to hook up directv to my belkin wireless g plus mimo router without getting a 50 feet eathernet cable/ is there a receiver that can be hooked up to...

Yes... the device you are looking for is called a "wireless ethernet bridge". They allow ordinary wired ethernet devices to communicate wirelessly. They are also known as "wireless gaming adapters" for XBox 360 and Playstation 2, since niether have wireless cards

I have just bought a Belkin Wireless G Plus MIMO Router and have got a disk but the problem is can i8 get on xbox live or do i need a modem aswell or is it modem and router together

you have to ring belkin and they will talk you through opening the releveant ports to access x box live. If you dont have a microsoft wireless adaptor (which they say you need) you can use a hard wired connection from another computer by creating a network bridge. either way you have to open the ports on your router.

Just trying to find the password key that was used in the setup of a BelkinG router in our house, to enable another computer in the house to be connected to the existing network.

Open the working pc open internet explorer and type 192.168.1.2 in the webaddress bar. thsi will open your belkin router settings page. On the left choose wireless security. If it asks for a password leave the password box empty and just click submit. The wireless key is in the box beside pre shard key: if you cant see it untick obsure key at the bottom. Take a note of this for future reference. This is the password key your second computer needs.

Trying to create a bridge with two routers

You do not need a bridge if you are using a wireless adaptor on your pc in the other room. Just set up the Belkin Plus router to the WEP security settings you want and make sure the pc wireless usb adaptor has the same settings as the router. You should be good to go. Good Luck.

Belkin G+ MIMO router kicks my 360 (wired directly to router) and my laptop (of course, wireless) off of the network at random times, its incredibly bothersome and i'd like it solved

that happens alot when one or more device (for instance, the xbox 360 and a cpu) are trying to use the same ip address make sure you have the xbox 360 and all other devices (cpu's/printers) that are connected to the router set to aquire ip address automatically
