Is this for digital or analogue signals?
Have you checked the set is not switched to a direct line (AV In) input but that Tuner has been selected?
(via the remote control or manual search buttons)
Checked arial connection(s)? - plugs?

SOURCE: I need a manual to tune in a Alba LCD 19880HDF

Quite often with different TV, the built in tuners are different, so even though you may have been able to tune in automatically with one you can't with other tv's as there tuner isn't so good, you may want to look at getting a bigger aerial as the 1 you have may not get a strong enough signal for the tv tuner.

SOURCE: moved house and tv will not tune into inside

You could try a 15dB UHF amplifier that will usually feed upto 2 TV's they cost about £10-15 and usually have a pass through 240V plug and will work with the Sky Magic Eye.

How do I tune a tv to sky channel

Turn on sky box, select a menu so you have a steady output.
Easy way is a scart lead (no tuning required) choose "av1" or whatever your plugged in to.
If just using ariel lead, pick a channel on tv for example no 6 and tune that to frequency 68.
If your tv does'nt use these numbers then scan until it comes through
