How do I fix a Roland Digital Piano FP-8 that has refused to play sounds despite the fact that it displays lights?

If everything lights up and responds to button pushes like normal, and you've done a hard reset as described in the manual, check to see if you have sound out of the headphone jack. It's most likely not a user serviceable problem and will need to go to the shop, but it will probably be the output amp rather than the main board.

I have an LG hotel ac/heat ptac unit. It is showing a code of FP what does this mean?

I'm pretty sure the FP code means freeze protection engaged. It prevents the outside coil from freezing

What does FP mean?

Try looking online for another manual. Or call anyone who sells your machine. Me thinks the solution is simple, but you need to talk to any seller of your machine, and soon.

I have a Panasonic DP 2310, everything starts and goes to ready. I press start and the display blinks, almost like a power recycle and it says copying but nothing happens, no errors. Any ideas?

there is a short on the board under the start button some where , its quite possible that the solder on the button has come loose and you mite need to solder it again

Panasonic FP 1780 Copier. The copier has a flashing wrench that will not reset. I need advice on resetting the wrench.

Hold down 3 buttons in this order:
Paper Tray (Oval button), Recall (Diamond) and #3.
You should see an F2 in the display.
Enter #5 (Display should be showing F5)
Hit the Print Button. (Display should show C00)
Enter 70. (Display should show C70)
Hit the print button. (Display should show probably a 7 or 8)
Hit the print button again. The print button should go Red for a second and then back to green.

Wrench should be gone.

Next to get out of service mode
Hit Clear / stop button until the display shows F5
Then hold down 3 buttons in this order:
Paper Tray, Recall and the Clear Stop button.

You should now be back to working order.

If you have any questions or need parts, feel free to ask.
Have a good day.
Good luck.
