yes u can use vista themes with Xp
u need to use Vista themes pack

Solution: Right click your Desktop and Go to --> Personalize --> Theme and change Theme to what you want! Hope I helped - donman92

If your OS is genuine, then send this error report to microsoft. If u have added vista insperat theme then uninstall it or any pack for win 7 then uninstall all such themes, extras...........sodeep

which window you using.if you using win xp then you need softwere style xp or uxtheme patcher to apply any theme.you simply find one of them on google.

Morning diya_vinayak ;-). You can go to google, type themes for win 2000 and click search. There, you'll find lots of themes for you to download, there're also lots of free themes. Mind you, download/use the themes at your own risk..

The error you are getting says that the theme can not be loaded because theme service is not running, so to start the themes service press WIN+R on your keyboard, type "services.msc" in the run box (without commas) and from the list that opens, find the theme service and start/enable it.
