How to reset the code (F21) on Bosch Maxx 7 - Bosch Washing Machines

F21 error on this model of Bosch washing machine pertains to a motor or a control board fault. F21 relates to a motor or control board fault.

However, it is also caused by spikes in the mains and can be spurious.

To reset it.

Turn the appliance knob to the off or reset position, 12 o'clock.

Turn the knob to the 6 o'clock position.

Press and hold the spin button.

While holding it, turn the knob to the 7 o'clock position.

Continue holding the spin button for about 5 seconds.

Release the button.

Turn the knob to off.

When your turn it back on it should have cleared the error code

I had F63 on Bosch washing machine (Maxx 7). I waited 5 days for a repairman and all he did was reset the washing machine processor, like this: 1. Turn the program knob to 6 o'clock 2. Hold the RPM button 3. While the RPM button is held, turn the program knob 1 click clockwise (to Rinse) 4. Release the RPM button.
This is similar to F21 which also happened to my machine. Apparently both errors are related to power surge/power cut.
