You might disconnect all power and reconnect to perform a power on reset. Then if the switch that detects the section is open or closed is working properly, then the circuit board that reads the switch is defective. Replace components as needed. the switch should be checked with a volt/ohm meter.

Jam in duplex area

Its is trick..If its more then two pages print, printer grabs second page even first page in duplex unit., here its confusion. Check with simplex single print, see any paper mismatch error? or printer throwing paper in output bin after successful print?. No.. check fuser out sensor or paper out roller.
Print only two pages matter in duplex, check where paper struck? if paper our roller not grabbing paper back properly in time (slipping while grabbing back) gets jam error.
Always ensure that select proper paper size in printer.Other than this it may major issue, need technical knowledge..& possibilities are less to judge the exact problem..
Keep update us to resolve the issue.

Error 13.20.00

That is a Paper Eject Jam.
The paper stopped at either the loop sensor (E), the fuser-output sensor (F) or the switchback sensor (G).

E & F are just prior to the paper going into the duplexer. G is a sensor in the duplexer assembly. If the sensors check out ok in diagnostics, then I would suspect worn feed rollers causing a paper late condition.

Second copy is crumpled

You need to isolated a problem.Verify the vertical conveyance feed and clean the feed rollers, verify the fusing unit and a duplex unit, and verify the exit unit.Stop the copy process before the paper enter in the fusing unit, and verify if the paper is crumpled or not.If is crumpled verify the paper tray rollers(casette feed rollers, vertical transport rollers). If not crumpled stop the proces after a half copy is out on the fusing unit.If crumpled change or clean the upper and lower fuser roller and the lower roller cleaning roller(aluminium roller)in the fusing unit.

When i turn the photocopier minolta di 470 on the table displays normally after a moment the photocopier turns off and displays the code c1334 i would like to now the meaning of the code.

C - 1334 Duplex take up print command error.
A duplex take up print command is not received for the paper to be taken up from the duplex after the papers has moved past the horizontal transport but before it reaches the transport roller.
The number of duplex take up print commands falls short of the number of sheets of paper to be taken up from the duplex or the leading edge of the sheet of paper, for wich a duplex take up print command is yet to be received activates the transport roller sensor.
Clean the transport feed rollers and the sensors.Reset the error code using the trouble reset switch and open/close the front door.

this is not a thought I am 100% sure and give you the correct solution:
problem with the paper feeding section is dusty or due to developer drooping
1. Open the developer unit and check the rear side developer unit bush one or two bush are faulty
and drop the developer.
2. remove all paper trays with remove the four each screws
3. Remove the toner collection bottle
4. Remove the right side cover.
5. Remove paper left roller plate.(show in the picture)
6. Now remove the first tray paper feeding section(is a complete unit included paper feed rollers motor and clutch and gear section)
7. Clean the drooped developer from all gears and roller and motor section
8. remove the second and third tray paper feeding section and doing the same.
9. now fix it all
10. replace developer unit bush witch are faulty or if you don't have yet cut a plastic sheet and past the upper side of first paper feeding unit gears witch are don't disturb the paper path and stop the developer drooping on the gear good_help.pnggood_help_0.png

Brother MFC-8860DN All-In-One Laser Printer showing document jam error

Doc jam error usually means a jam in the adf (auto doc feed) when feeding a fax or doc to copy.

The most common reason brother mfc,s of this configuration have doc feed issues is believe it or not the hinge that operates the lid/adf, specifically the left side one (looking from the front). Inside the hinge there are two springs exerting tremendous force on the hinge (that enables the lid to stay up by itself) however this force eventually slowly breaks the fulcrum point of the hinge which leads to the lid not closing properly which means a sensor under the lid does not activate properly resulting in the adf stopping and resulting in the machine registering a jam. the difference between the sensor activating or not can be as little as a millimeter and is not often disernable. the hinge needs replacing by a techo.

the other reason could be you just have dirty adf feed rollers, clean them with a cotton rag dipped in metho, open the adf lid and give the rollers a scrub. the rollers should have 'tread' on them similar to a tyre, if not they are worn and need replacing.

One other possibility is there may be a paper fragment left over from a jam removal still caught in the paper path and activating a sensor activator that tells the machine paper is coming or going. most commonly in the section where the paper is looping on its return journey back out of the adf, open the adf lid, have a look with a torch and see how you go.

Regards, Andrew.

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. To clear the error with the rear access door or duplexer still removed, clean the paper rollers.
  1. Lightly moisten a clean, lint-free cloth with distilled or bottled water, and then gently wipe the large paper rollers inside the product. Manually rotate the rollers to clean all the way around the rollers, and then allow the rollers to dry.
  2. Check to make sure that all of the paper rollers on the rear access door or duplexer are present and not missing.
  3. Clean the rollers on the rear access door or duplexer using the same method used to clean the large rollers inside the product, and then allow the rollers to dry.
1dcbd84.gif

  1. Make sure that all of the rollers move smoothly.
  2. If a duplexer is installed, open it to check for any obstructions.

  • 1 - Latch on top of the duplexer
  • 2 - Duplexer cover
  1. Close the rear access door and make sure that it is securely fastened. If using a duplexer, make sure it is closed correctly and reinstall it on the back of the product.

REPEATED REAR PAPER JAMS-BROTHER INTELLIFAX 2820

Try making prints or copies with the rear door open. If it does not jam your fixing unit (hot area) is functioning properly. With the rear door closed try again making copies or prints. If it jams it's most likely the exit rollers acting up.

1. I've seen the exit sensor break on these units and sometimes the drive gears wear and do not feed properly.
2. If using after market toner or refills this may also coat the exit roller with a film which prevents the exit rollers from feeding parper out by reducing the friction of theses rollers. Clean with fantastic untill cloth does not turn black.

I can't seem to control which tray the paper is fed from.

My idea is that you have the wrong printer for the job. Yes. It will automatically take anything that is put into the upper feed section, because it is actually the same feed section- it uses the exact same feed rollers to feed from the bypass tray as the main tray, this is designed only as a convenience for the occasion you want to print different size paper you may want to run, or for re-feeding for duplex
