Lost CD - how do i download OCR software for Lexmark P4350

To scan documents for editing and saving as PDF file, you will need to install the Lexmark OCR scan software on your computer. The Lexmark scan software (no downloadable version) is only available on the installation disc that came with your printer. If you lost the disc, please contact Lexmark Technical Support Center for assistance.

To install the OCR scan software from the printer installation CD:

1. Insert CD into the CD-ROM drive. If the installation screen open, click Cancel.
2. Double-click on My Computer / Computer.
3. Right-click on Lexmark XXXX CD and select Open.
4. Double-click on OCR.
5. Double-click on Setup.exe to install the OCR software. Your operating system will then determine the language in which it is installed.

Go to the Following Link to Download and Install the Drivers and Softwares for your Printer, But Unfortunately the OCR Software is not available in the Downloads:

You can get the OCR Software Purchased Separately because Lexmark doesnt provide it with the Downloads.

Click on the Microsoft or Macintosh dropdown to choose the version of the operating system of your computer. Then download and install the software. It includes the All-in-One Center software. Hope this helps.

NOTE: If computer is looking for the OCR scan software, you can only install it using the installation cd that came with the printer.

i have lost my cd and would like to restall my printer Lemark P4350

OCR programs are usually bundled with the driver disk and typically cost money. If the disk is lost, than chances are youll have to purchase an OCR program. One thing that you can try is to contact lexmark customer service and ask to send you a new copy of the disk. Be prepared to fax proof of purchase and pay shipping charges.
