Does the power light blinks when you press the reset button?
If power light is blinking continuously then I think your router is not working and you need a new one.

the er means error. you may have a damaged control from the power outage. try to turn the power off to the unit for 30 min then put it back on. see if it resets it.

ouch, it cost them $300 to have the chassis rebuilt, if they want that kind of money kick it to the curb.

I reset the clock to the current time - tab on the back - and that fixed it.

You just need to reset the time to fix this problem. There were three buttons on the back of the base for the day, hour, and minutes. I didn't know they were there!

You need to reset the time after a power outage.  Press the Day/Check, Hour, and Minute buttons until the correct time is heard-- Press Day/Check until you hear the correct day announced. Then do the same with Hour, and then Minute.
