I do this repair for a broken LCD on the S50's. I am on Ebay and my user
name is rarey57siriusXM. Look me up I also do LCD and scroll wheel
repairs for the Stiletto 10 and 100's. Cost of this repair service is
$24.95 and that includes free priority mail shipping back to you on all
these different repairs. Thanks
Service manuals are not available except from manufacturer - they probably won't give you one, but you can always ask. You can check online sites, but call them in person and make sure they have a SERVICE manual, not a USER'S manual. 1-800-869-5590

There is a guy in Maine who says he can fix it. It is available through ebay. Put in Stiletto 100 in the search field and he comes up under "Broken Wheel Repair Service". Cost is $24.95. I'm going to give it a try.
Usually this is a signal issue and it happens when recording indoors mostly, right? The signal dropps but only for a second or two so when you look at it its fine. you've probably notived it cutting in and out when "live" from time to time. Use your signal meter built in to the device and find the strongest signal location. If that doesnt work or its not the problem, update the software. If that doesnt work try running the recovery software but only as a last resort because you'll lose your recordings.

Double check your signal strength during the time of day your recording sounds like classic signal drop. Could also be software issue or memory issue. As a last resort;
