One time I got an error message that said "device is busy". Mostly though it just won't connect. I had it working a couple of days ago so I am wondering if it's a faulty device?

    is anyone goona solve this?

I did have the same problem with my LG env and Jabra VBT185z--yeah a pretty cheap thing but, by resetting to factory settings, I was able to connect. However, I did lose my contact list and had to reprogram and call Verizon to be able to identify my phone again. But, the handsfree thing now works!! I had my Verizon back up assistant to restore my contact list--didn't have but a couple pics so it didn't really bother me. Don't think I'd want to do this if I had a ton of pics, videos around.

I have the LG enV2 also and have had a bluetooth device Motorola HS850 that worked for the last 6 months and now all of a sudden doesn't. It pairs but then I get a prompt that the "device is out of range or powered off". I don't want to reset to factory settings and lose my contact list. Any solution??

I had lots of trouble too. I thought it was my phone. Well here's what you do. First off remove the device completely from your phone. Turn off the phone and take the battery off so it can re-boot. When the phone is powered back up put your bluetooth in pairing mode and get it back on your phone. It should connect without any problems. Now....here is the trick. When you want to disconnect the device(bluetooth) from your phone don't turn it off on your phone. Shut the actual power off on your bluetooth. The phone will recognize this and disconnect the device. The only thing left on your phone will be the bluetooth icon. Being the icon still on your phone it is still in discovery mode and can overtime use up your battery life searching for a device. This is when you can go to your phone and turn off the bluetooth. On your NV 2 go to your bluetooth menu and just use your left softkeyto turn it off. Now there is no connection whatsoever. And to turn it back on do the opposite. Go to your bluetooth menu and turn on your bluetooth. You will see the bluetooth icon. Now you power up the bluetooth and it will connect as soon as it get the signal. This took me 2 weeks of trial and error and other stuff but I am happy now and I hope this solves any bluetooth problems...

Well, I was afraid of losing all of my contact info & pics to so I turned off my phone & removed the battery for a minute. I put the battery back on, turned the phone on, turned on my bluetooth & it automatically paired & is now working w/no problems! Thanks to everyone for all of the advice/solutions!

Well im15 but i have had this problem before and i have solved this problem for my lg ev2 and it was acually pretty easy.
you see you usually get it to work for the first time and you think hey this is pretty easy and when you go into your menu to turn it off you usually hit "disconect" well after you hit this your headset wont work again so what i did was. i made sure the headset wasnt on and that the phone bluetooth setting was off. after that i deleted all bluetooth settings on the phone and then went into my phone and set all settings to factory settings. DONt WORRY IT WONT DELETE YOUR PHOTOS, CONTACTS, ECT..... then when that is done go to your bluetooth menu and add the headset again now look for now on NEVER disconect the headset just hit the power button on the headset and on your phone screen it should say something like "headset has been disconected" or somthing along the lines. that means that when you turn it back on it should automatically connect. if not go to the bluetooth menu select your bluetooth's name and hit ok or connect... and there you go all solved... this has helped me, my family, my friends, and many others... try it if not try to do a few new things with the menu or just ask your phone provider for a little help

Hey - it worked!! On my phone, I went to Settings and Tools, Phone Settings, Security and then Restore Factory Settings. I didn't lose contacts, pictures, etc. I then paired my headset with my phone just like the first time I did it and it works! Thanks so much for your help!!

I cannot connect the bluetooth headset to my iphone

Hello

Turn your bluetooth headset off.
If it is on, press and hold multi-function button(for about 4 seconds) until the LED blinks twice.

Prepare your iphone to be ready to go to search mode.
You can see 1.Search 2. Wait for request. Don't press on Search yet. This needs to be done after the bluetooth headset is in pairing mode.

Turn your bluetooth headset on in pairing mode.
(Press and hold the multi-function button for almost 9 seconds. The LED will be steadily LIT.)

Activate the Search option in your phone. You should see Samsung WEP301 in your phone's screen. Choose that and press OK.

The phone will ask for a passkey. Press 0000. (That's four zeros.) Then press OK.
Give it a few seconds, your phone and bluetooth headset will be paired.

Enjoy the handsfree experience.

Hello I have lost owner manuel for my bluetooth wep301 samsung does anyone know what do to

Pairing Headset
Be sure the the headset in in 'Pairing' mode.
When in pairing mode, the light should be flashing red and blue or have a steady blue.
The put most headsets in pairing mode, turn headset OFF, then hold the power button until it goes into pairing mode as discribed above.
Then you can discover it with your phone or PC. Pin (pass key) should be 0000 (4 Zeros) or try 1111, 1234, 9999

You can obtain a copy of your user manual by locating the FCCID on the label directly on the device, then then going to the FCC Website - https://fjallfoss.fcc.gov/oetcf/eas/reports/GenericSearch.cfm
Be sure to put the first three characters in the first box and the rest (including hyphens) in the second box.

EnV2 will not pair with plantronic explorer 220

Discovery is bluetooth mode if i'm not mistaken.

The other way is via a usb cable using the mass storage device.

As long as you have the usb modem drivers for the EnV2 downloaded in your computer, the mass storage device in your cell phone will find them and away you go.

I can't connect my EnV2 to my Jabra Bluetooth. Is there a trick?

It could as easy as updating your phone by dailing *228 with a Verizon phone, select option 2 then press ok when the update is complete. When the phone resets, turn on the bluetooth headset, a prompt on the phone should come up to enter the passkey which should be 0000

Cannot connect to my verizon env2 phone

Try this:

1) Charge the headset (plug it in until the LED light turns off. Didn't take very long for me) and unplug it...

2) Make sure the unit is ON (It blinks quickly when powering on and off, and blinks consistently while on, so it shouldn't be hard to tell) [the power switch is very slim and on the outer edge of the unit, labeled by a circle with a line in the middle]

3) Hold down the big silver button on the large outer flat surface of the unit until the LED light *STAYS ON* ***While that LED light remains solid, the unit is in Bluetooth "Discoverable" mode*** After you have put the hands free unit into this mode, then *promptly* follow your own cell phone's blue tooth pairing instructions, usually found in the "tools" or "settings" menu.

re: Carmen66. Your advise 'bluetooth' "device is out of range or powered off", worked like magic. Yes, it's a pain to power off the phone and restart it before connecting the bluetooth, but heck it works. Reboot, so simple, inconvenient, but works with GREAT success! Thnk You.Very Helpful. First new phone in a few yrs and was ready to take it all back.
