We are installing a dishwasher--have it hooked up but can't seem to get the leveling legs loose so we can adjust the height. Also, the anchoring peices of metal stick out farther than our countertop.

Hello, This dishwasher has the ability to be mounted to the cabinets on either side of the dishwasher.the mounting brackets can be moved to each side. If it must be mounted to the counter top, the mounting tabs can be bent by hand and it will break the front part of the mounting tab. This will shorten the mounting bracket. If you have granite counter tops do not attempt to drill into to the granite counter call a granite fabicator. The leveling feet are hexagon shaped at the top of the of the leveling leg. Remove the front lower toe kick panel. This will allow access to the top of the leveling legs, then use a small cresent wrench or a socket and rachet.Hope this helps.Joe Connolly

AEG dishwasher integrated Model newly installed but when I lower the door to load it the dishwasher moves out from under counter and then wont close properly how do I solve this problem?

The built-in dishwashers are almost fixed by screws in top or by side. Carefully read the installation manual where it is explained in detail how to fix the dishwasher under the kitchen worktop. You also need to adjust the height by using the swivel legs that will additionally fix the dishwasher.

What is the installation specifications on this particular model? Dimensions?

Patty,
Most dishwashers need an opening that is a minimum of 24" wide and 34" to 35" in height. Normally, you can adjust legs on the unit to adjust for the height you need, but you have no adjustment for the width. Hope this helps!

Leveling kenmore elite front loader

  • Place the level on the top of the washing machineicon1.png to see if it is level. Make sure you test it side to side and front to back.

Pull the washing machine away from any walls if you have to make an adjustment to the legs.

  • Lift the washericon1.png and place the wood block underneath the washer. Place the block near the leg that needs to be adjusted, but don't let it obstruct the leg.

  • Loosen the nut that secures the legicon1.png with the wrench.

  • Raise the height of the leg by twisting it to the left, or lower the height by twisting it to the right.

  • Remove the block of wood from under the washer and recheck the machine with the level.

  • Raise or lower the leg if additional adjustments are needed.

  • Tighten the nut on the leg with the wrench when the machine is level.

  • Repeat the process for each leg that needs to be adjusted.

  • Move the washer back into position and check with the level again to make sure the washer remains stable to finish leveling the machine.

My dishwasher was installed, then wood floors added and now the height is only 33 inches. How do I get the old one out and find a new dishwasher that is 33-33 1/4 inches tall?

Take a sawzall and cut the front legs, pull the dishwasher out until the back legs hit the new wood floor and then cut those legs from the sides. It's your old dishwasher anyway, so who cares if the legs are cut off?

Need to replace this unit ASAP and am having issue finding one that will fit. My R.O. is exactly 34". The existing unit shown was OK because of the 33 - 1/2. Recommendations?

all dish wahers are the same height
the differance your seeing is that
is has been adjusted to fit your cabinet height
    with the adjustable legs
all units can be raised by srewing down the legs
    and back levelers
make sure when you do your cabinet measurements you take this into account
