I was noticing that my Kenmore Frostless freezer's temp alarm was constantly going off. I asked a friend and he said maybe it needed to be leveled out to be fixed. After finaly leveling out i still noticed this problem. I recently found that its not properly sealing at the top left hand corner of the door about 3inches down and across (to the right). Can anyone help me with this?

Try disconnecting power for about 30 seconds, and then restore power. This will reboot the control and maybe restart.

Best thing to do first is get a thermometer to be sure the temperature is correct. Items still freeze at higher temperatures. If you have ice cream and it is soft, then you have a temp problem.

Is the temperature warmer as well, or is it just the alarm light blinking?

Kenmore Frostless Upright freezer model# 23971. The alarm sounded, all contents in freezer is frozen solid. We turned the alarm off, but the red light continues to blink. How do you reset the alarm and stop the red light from flashing? It has been 3 days now and every time we have check to see if the contents has started to defrost, there is no signs of defrosting, everything inside of the freezer remains frozen solid.

kenmore elite, alarm kept going on and b flashed on and off. I finaly figured out on bottom of freezer there is a battery door open it and change 9v. thats it,

I called the repair service to send out a technician

My freezer goes into defrost but doesn't automatically come out and the alarm goes off.

that's the same problem i incurred, i replaced the thermostat and the fan. seems to be working fine.

i've pulled up the service diagram for it and there's no thermostat or temperature control but there's a limit sensor inside the freezer I'm sure that such sensor is failing and when it defrosts, it stays on to long, and the whole 15 min defrost cycles goes on causing the freezer to warm up, delaying the freezing process. I'm almost sure that the limit is going.
