Thank you for using FixYa. F1 refers ro a fault with either the control board or touch pad. Both may need replacing to clear this error. E3 refers to a fault with the temperature sensor and should be replaced. This unless the repair done by yourself may work out expensive.
I have a 40 pint and a 50 pint that are very similar. The 40 pint has the e3 error. Experimenting with the 50 pint, I found if I disconnected a particular sensor I got the e3 error. That sensor is a little can with two black wires (smaller than a AAA battery but shaped like that). It is attached to the cooling coils so must be a temperature sensor. This is not the little circuit board sensor mounted in the middle of the radiator in a plastic box/clip thing.
I am now about to see that part to see if I can replace it.
i don't know if this will help i have a delonghi portable ac and the e3 means not enough voltage to run properly. but it was doing the same thing as yours. i plugged it in where i knew there was good enough voltage and it works fine now
e3 fault
same = E3 - no cooling + use of remote stop aircon (any button)
I have the same problem. My display reads E3 how do i fix it
