Hi sir you posted for the blank n70.. i tried to reprogrammed using the method u said bout that. im in the phils by the way, i cant reprogrammed it. i go to the technician said that he need to replace something wc he is not still sure if it works...it has been 2 weeks that my phone is with him. and still he cannot find the defect.. sir kung tagalog ka... hehe.. tagal na un 2 weeks na nya check..di nya malaman kung panu.. natry ko na ung parg reprogram manually.. gano ko ba katagal dapat hold.. 1 minute na ala pa din nanyari.. blank screen.. la tunog.. di cia makarecyb msg it dont operate at all po..2nd hand pala ung unit...txt me po kung may lam kau pd ko gawin.. 09062851657 thanks [po

I understand tagalog, but I'm not really good at typing it. Hehe. Anyways, it's a hardware problem. The LCD could have been disconnected or broken, and may need to be replaced.

I can't pinpoint the problem because I'm not there, and can't see it for myself. What did the technician say he needed to repair? What exactly did he say is broken?

WHITS SCREEN DISPLAY.

hi,
there are two kinds of white screen in n70 ,
the first one is because of damage LCD (glass screen) ,
defective display driver (small chips that makes the display works)
and the other one is corrupted software...in damage lcd the phone will detected
by computer because its software is still working...so ,
the problem of your N70 im sure is the second one ,
corrupted software....your phone needs to reprogram,and
need to go to a nokia care center to fix you problem...

My nokia n70 phone weak of signal
hi im josh in cebu phils.friend may i help you? your problem is weak signal. friend when the phone is weak signal there maybe a problem in hardware of the phone. the frequency reciever is weak im sure.but you can boost its functions throught entering the setting and go to network settings and select manual search.your phone frequency will search the network connections around so the hardware will be force to boost.once it will show the network providers around you select the network you are using and it will be setted to the network in more/ higher frquencyh signal. thats all friend hope i helped you.good luck/

Nokia n70 blank screen or white screen
Your phone's real messed up.. Uhmm.. Listen, this may or may not work, but do try it before you do decide to go to a technician.

Hard format method:
  1. turn phone off
  2. hold the following keys WHILE its turning back on: (3 + * + green call key)
  3. do not let go until it asks you about your location
That hard formats all data on the phone, but your phone may need to be reprogrammed if the entire software is corrupted. Here in the philippines it costs 300 pesos, which is cheap. I dont know about the price from where you come from.

Anyways, negotiate (if possible) for a better price. It could also be a damaged hardware from within that may need fixing or replacement.

you want to update your phone? install first NOKIA SOFTWARE UPDATER

after install use your USBcable CA-53 to update
your phone...

note: backup first.
while updating the phone don't desconnect the phone or your phone may be dead.

hi,

see the thing is that for receiving and sending pictures from ur mobile via messaging option, for that u need to get ur mms service activated and after that get the mms setings from ur service provider. U need to ensure that tthing also that same mms service & setings should be available at othr end also.After that u will be able to send & receive mms from that particular no.
