Samsung DMT300RFW Builtin Dishwasher Logo
Anonymous Posted on Sep 17, 2011

I have a DMT300rfw samsung dishwasher. The other day it started blinking 3 lights on the front that indicate (according to the manual) that there is a low-level water error. The solution is to run the dishwasher with no dishes and try again. Did that and still getting the error code. Warranty is up and I really don't have the money for a repair guy. Any help?

Thanks for the advice. Actually found out my dishwasher was under warranty still and repairman came out. I was not home at he time, but the wife said it had to do with sensor being dirty or clogged. Anyway he cleaned it and it works great.

draining is not the problem, I think there is an issue with the computer panel, I had two repairmen come in, the first was a nightmare he actually said it could cost $500.00-$1,000.00 to fix and it depended what it was worth to me, I showed him the door, the seocnd guy brought his service repair manual and reset the computer, I don't think you can reset by turning off the power as the computer needs to reset by pressing the right codes, this is what I need, otherwise I will call Larry again and ask him to come reset the computer, I'm trying to save the service call fee. If there is a power surge the computer will mess up and needs resetting. I think next time there is extreme weather I will turn the breaker off and hopefully that will prevent the computer issuing errors.

I just had this same problem, and I think I figured it out. There was water on the bottom from the last cycle, so I pressed HEAVY and DELICATE at the same time for 3 seconds (you'll see it printed on the control panel), and the unit drained. I was then able to start the new cycle normally without the error. Hope that helps!

Samsung DMT300RFW Builtin Dishwasher will not run past wash cycle. I start it and it fills and the wash cycle starts but won't cycle past the wash cycle. No error codes.

What do you mean, it won't "run past the wash cycle"? Do you mean it stays in the wash cycle forever? Or do you mean it quits in the wash cycle and doesn't rinse or dry?

MY BRAND NEW SAMSUNG DISHWASHER HAS POWER BUT WONT START THE WASH THE WASH CYCLE THE TWO CYCLE LIGHTS JUST KEEP BLINKING

What 2 cycle lights? Samsung dishwashers indicate problems and errors by making different lights light up and/or flash. We would need to know the model number too.

Machine power on off and other butons not responding

A lot of these Samsung dishwashers don't have fuses; or the fuses are incorporated (soldered in and sealed) inside the dishwasher controller (electronic control module); which is unfortunate, because it means that you have to replace the whole electronic control module, which is a fairly expensive proposition.

Why does our Samsung DMT300RFW dishwasher have a terrible odor coming from it ?

Usually caused by a draining problem. Check your drain hose where it goes into you garbage disposal. That drain hose should be mounted up so water from the sink and garbage disposal can't backwash into the dishwasher. Use a clamp or zip tie to mount the drain hose so it goes up at least 4 to 6 inches above the garbage disposal port.

Why is the Rinse Cycle and Drying not working

Unfortunately you did not specify the model dishwasher so I'll give you a general answer.
(The indicator light, straight from Washing moves to completion stage where the light blinks rapidly) I believe you means the "End LED" (LED 3) blinks rapidly. If this is true and according to your description of failure (no drying, no rinsing) I think that appeared alarm AL04. It means the thermistor (NTC) not compliant - probable failure of the component that detects the temperature .
I suggest you to check: thermistor NTC, wiring and electronic.
