Your watch runs on light, you need to leave the watch under a light source for at least 18 hours, then as long as your wearing it, it should keep running if you are exposing it to light. At nighttime for a couple nights leave it under a light, so it has a good charge and keeps running. If this does not work then you need to call Citizen Watch repair at 1-800-321-1023.

My GN-4-S watch doesn't keep time when not worn , in daylight hours and in the sun it keeps perfect time when worn.

Visit your local Citizen dealer and for new capacitor. It looks like your old capacitor can not accumulate enough power to keep watch going in darkness.

Restarting my Citizen Promaster Eco Divers 200 Watch

Since it's eco-drive you can just wear it for a few hours and it should self-wind. The problem is that when it sits still for more than a few days it winds down. It gets its power from the natural movement of your wrist as you walk around.

Once it starts ticking again you'll just have to set the time correctly.
