Hi, This is Vivekananda.I am using Intel GC11010N Motherboard. The Intel given drivers are not working if i install. I need a audio drivers for this motherboard. Thank you.

If you have installed a drive from another system, it probably has settings applicable to the system from which it was removed. The original system could well have had settings for a different audio chip and video resolution. You need to look at the device drivers for audio and video and make the changes needed so they apply to the laptop you have.

Access the manufacturer's web-site: http://www.intel.com
Access the "support" pages.
Search for your motherboard (Pentium 4, D101GGC).
Access the "download" pages.
Select your Operating System.
Select the "chipset" and the "audio" device-drivers.
Download them.
Install them.

You need to download the audio from intel. As well as the motherboard inf or motherboard drivers. These allow XP to recognize or identify the hardware then you need to install the audio driver. Audio is the usual one that xp won;t be able to get working.

In the BIOS (probably in advanced features or overclock menu or the sorts)
you'll need to either find the option to tune down FSB (probably around 200) or your CPU multiplier. CPU speed is FSB*multiplier, so you can yourself calculate the desired speed. If you need any help finding the BIOS menu these functions are in, I could do a little more research, but for now I'll trust you can find them yourself.
