Kenmore gas oven says E2 F3 - Ovens

Whirlpool F3 faults relate to temperature problems in the oven. In the case of the error E2-F3, F3 is the general fault code and E2 is the specific error code. An E0-F3 error indicates that the oven's temperature sensor is open; E1-F3, that the temperature sensor is shorted; E2-F3, that the oven temperature has exceeded the maximum rated 575 degrees Fahrenheit in "Cook" mode; and E3-F3, that the oven temperature has exceeded the maximum rated 950 degrees Fahrenheit in the clean mode. F3-E2 error means open/shorted oven temperature sensor and to solve this problem the sensor needs replacement. If you want to do it yourself and wan to be sure before replacing the sensor then you can test it with a voltmeter between 1080-1120ohms....if it reads more then or less then this then it needs replacement however, if the reading is around between 1080-1120ohms then it is the control board that needs replacement. F3 E2 USUALY IS THE SENSOR IN THE OVEN IF YOUR LUCKY YOU CAN REMOVE THE 2 SCREWS INSIDE AND PULL THE WIRES THROUGH. MAKE SURE YOU UNPLUG IT FIRST.

oven went into E2 F3 oven code while cooking a chicken and broil burner came on turned off oven but broil burner stayed lit, then had to unplug

I have a Kenmore model 665.95802 . When I turn the oven dial off , the broiler stays on and on the display you see the code F3 E2
