I encountered such a problem important first to understand where the problem appeared, that for example here - Case Study Writing Service , the guy broke system unit and only then realized that the problem was in high-voltage.
What kind of device (make and model number) is your problem actually on?

I suppose the problem is with MotherBoard not releasing Flea power after shutting down. You need to check the power socket. try connecting your PC to another powersocket. well if problem still comes you can try calling these teche guys at ***. they really do resolve PC problems

Hi, the most likely place(s) where a spark could occur on your motherboard would be near the processor where the big transistors are, the capacitors. Such if it were the case would mean that your motherboard is most likely fried and therefore would require replacement. Check if there are any burnt marks or try to smell the motherboard. Arcing (spark) would leave a telltale burnt smell within the immediate area. Another likely place would be the capacitors themselves (3300uF/6.3V or something like that). Normal capacitors would have flat surfaced end with an indented X or T mark. If any would show a bulging, cracked, open or blistering open, then chances are they are busted, leaking, shorted - all meaning motherboard replacement. Aside from the motherboard, it might be that the power supply itself is defective. Normally (but not always) spark/arcing would occur in the hotside (the one directly connecting to the mains). You are probably better off buying a new PSu rather than have it repaired. In some cases, PSU with on/off master switch at the back have been known to have arcing/sparking problems. In this instance, switch replacement is possible without replacing the entire powersupply. In extreme cases, the said switch can be left out (removed) and the two wires going to it just twisted together and taped. Again this is on the hotside. If you are not comfortable working with power supplies, may I suggest you ask a competent service personnel to do the repalcement or removal and shorting. Hope this works out for you. Cheers.
