Sorry for the late reply, I'm offline upon purchasing my service. You have said that you can hear a low buzzing sound before the unit gone to subsequent shutdown and the lamp blinks green(meaning that the unit try to turn on the lamp for consecutive attempts but not generally mean that the lamp itself is faulty.) and the temp led light come on.
As a matter of fact all the information you have mentioned linked to the symptoms you've encountered right now. A low buzzing sound might be caused by faulty FAN inside the unit that trigger the error code (blinking of the standby/temp led light) and turns off the unit automatically due to thermal protection circuit. However, the technician might be true also that the buzzing sound came from the faulty color wheel. To confirm it, you have to verify where the buzzing sound came from. Color wheel is in front of the lamp assembly. Faulty color wheel can produce the same symptoms you've encountered right now but most of the time, it shows 3 blinking led light at the front panel (Timer, Lamp, standby/Temp).
I would advice you to open the back cover of your unit, fixed the lamp door safety switch with the tape to make it in closed position( if it is on open position the unit will not power up), and then turn on the unit and observe the fans if will spin or not, and check also where the buzzing sound came from before the unit gone to shutdown. I've suspected that the fault came from the fan based on the led light flashes. Please let me know what you will discover after following the steps above to verify where the exact fault came from. Also, let me know the exact status of the led light at the front panel, (Timer, Lamp, standby/Temp ), which of them lit solid/blinking, it will help us to narrow the caused of the symptoms.
Is it a multi-function remote? If it is, make sure you've punched the TV button before using it. Also, make sure none of the buttons on the remote or the TV have accidentally been pushed down and are stuck.

The McCulloch page will open for you. Click on "parts" tab above "McCulloch" and type in the part number. You'll have to click on your particular model number to see the parts diagram for your saw.
Or, you can go to http://www.mccullochpower.com/ and click on "service locator" and type in your city. I couldn't get the service locator to work for Westchester County, NY. Must need a city or zip. Give it a try!
If deep cleansing via software doesn't work then you've got to manually clean your print head unit. Sometimes you'll have to bite the bullet and get a replacement print-head unit ($$). If you're at the stage that you're considering replacement, then you've got nothing to lose by cleaning the print-head unit yourself. It's simple. Remove all ink cartridges first then remove the print head itself. Place the print head unit in a saucepan of warm (NOT boiling hot) water and leave to soak for an hour. (Protect your clothes - it gets messy) After an hour, flush the printhead unit under a running tap. Don't run the water too fast or you may damage the unit) You should flush until the water runs clear. Do not attempt to clear the nozzles with anything other than water - they are very fine needle jets and you will damage them!! If needs be, return to saucepan and leave to soak in warm water again and repeat process. When you are satisfied that the printhead is clean, you need to dry the unit thoroughly. Shake as much water from it as you can then pat it gently dry. Next place it on some absorbant kitchen paper and put the unit in a warm place to thoroughly dry (Overnight in a warm airing cupboard would be good). Once dry, refit the unit put in (Preferably new - but I've used existing one's without problem) cartridges and run a cleaning cycle. Your printer should now work as if new!!! - In Most cases!! - sometimes though, you'll either have to replace the print head unit - which sometimes can be more expensive that simply replacing the printer. What have you got to lose though eh? CLIVUSS
