Then download audio driver that is compatible with window 7 along with your board. example : ( realtek sound driver for windows 7 download ). Or go to your motherboards website and download your sound driver there . Like ( realtek high definition audio driver for win 7 downloads ). Have a nice day..

No audio devices are istalled windows 7

The Foxconn site does not give a Win 7 audio driver. In many cases the Windows Vista drivers will work in Windows 7. You can try the link below to download the Vista Driver. If that doesn't work, you can try a generic Windows 7 AC97 Audio driver from the internet. If that fails, you will need to upgrade your motherboard, or disable the onboard audio in the CMOS and install an aftermarket audio card that Win 7 supports.

Gateway mx 6421 win764 driver issues

You could, drivers are based on manufacture. Like Realtek is a common maker of audio chips, and sometimes distributors use a popular motherboard.
You may have plateaued at Vista, by try the Troubleshooting Compatibility with Vista 64 drivers before you roll it back.

BTW - This happened to me with Win 8.

If you are using Win XP then download the audio drivers for Win xp.

first you find the sound chip on *********** board.On your audio chip have a number like cmi98xx.Then find your audio chip number and find the drivers for win.7.If can't find the drivers for win.7 search the drivers for win.xp.Then download the drivers and extract it by using win rar.After that go to device manager and update you audio drivers by using extracted files.

Uptodate with windows 7 no sound at all all working before

as of now there are no available device drivers for audio that support the win 7 system, there are many cases like these when a user switch to win 7 they encounter no audio, you will just have to wait until the product manufacturer releases a device driver that support win 7 operating system

I have thoshiba satellite v100 notebook dual boot system with xp installed in my C drive as default, and windows seven in my D (other) drive, the drivers r working for xp, but when i boot win 7 the audio...

If you can't find the driver for Win 7 try using the Vista driver from the Toshiba download page. You can also see what xp identifies the driver as and see if you can find the win 7 driver for that audio device direct from manufacturer.
