Try installing the driver for it...here is a link to Toshibas site with the webcam drivers, just choose the correct operating system and downlaod and install.

You need the driver for the webcam to work. Toshiba did not have the webcam driver listed separately for download. You may find it in the toshiba drivers for update to windows 7 here http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/support/jsp/bulletin.jsp?ct=SB&soid=2476028&ref=EV

***However first do READ which laptops the drivers are for and make sure it includes yours! They are not for older laptops. There's two versions to download. There's a link on the page above to read before downloading and installing the toshiba drivers. Not every thing will run under windows 7 yet*****

Unfortunately it is not uncommon for toshiba's laptops to out live the built in webcams....

sounds like driver related problem, download this tool: Driver Update Software for XP Vista 7 8 update your drivers, and won't be any problem.

Not to sure if you can use more than two on one computer. If you haven't un-installed the first webcam, try that. So is the built in one webcam broke?
