Get firmware update and then restart your computer:
Erases Everything: Get the latest firmware upgrade from Sansa - it updates the firmware and erases every song in the player all at once. Note: this method doesn't work if already have the latest firmware. Go to this website and click "Firmware Updater" to find out: http://www.sandisk.com/Retail/DriverDownloads.aspx

If
the unit isn't turning on after charging, it needs to be repaired or replaced. If it only comes on while it's plugged into the computer, this indicates the battery isn't holding a charge. If you have the receipt contact the manufacturer to discover their warranty policy and procedure.

some where on the device it should hve a reset button that you have to press with a pin or somthing try that

Do you have earthing ? are you sure it didnt get any electric shocks?

well there is some problem with power supply and u should read the menual and please get it check by an expert.
