You have to check the HDMI cable. In Samsung tvs the HDMI sources only highlights if the a proper HDMI sources is connected to the corresponding HDMI port of the tv. Also check by connecting any other device which have and HDMI connectivity to the HDMI 2 port.

The power supply may have blown capacitors. Check to see if it is still covered by the warranty and check to see if it was affected by a Samsung recall. If not, then unless you can replace capacitors inside the TV itself, it is time to take it to a service center.

You have dead pixels , It may cost more to fix than getting a new tv, ill recommend calling samsung and talking to them to see if your still under warranty. Thanks -JC

Do you mean you have power between the grounds of the HDMI ports...if you measure the metal part of the connector to frame ground you get a voltage reading?
