Turn the aperture ring to f/22 and if the lens has a lock, lock it. You control the aperture from the camera body, the same as on a lens without an aperture ring.

Timer display says "Lo Battery". I put two new

Intermatic timers might require reset-and-reprogram after battery replacement.
To reset, hold down on-off button and push reset button once.
Keep holding on-off button until display changes.
Release on-off button, and display should blink 12:00

Try cleaning battery carriage contacts with alcohol and make sure battery polarity is correct.

If functionality is not restored, then replace timer.
Intermatic EJ500 comes with 1 year limited warranty and is rated for incandescent light bulbs only.

Our Summer brand Model 02170 baby monitor has worked flawlessly for years. It worked just great for our first daughter. We now have a second 6 month daghter so we unpacked the stored infant accessories...

here is the manual http://www.homedepot.com/catalog/pdfimages/ee/eee691a0-e88c-41d2-8df3-327e03f45222.pdf

I dont think yours is a battery issiue, I would call the manufacture on the first page of the manual.
although if you dont replace the charge on the unit at least monthly the batteries wont be healthy. If you are going to store it make sure the alkaline batteries are out of the mic or transmitter unit. and you can unplug the rechargeable one as well. this will help the battery life.

Are you using the AA alkaline battery? If yes try to reverse the orientation of the battery instead of positive negative make it negative positive

Now if your using new rechargeable make sure thats the AA Ni-MH this Ni-MH is highly recommended for your camera C743

My 2 yr old Ixus 70 keps turning itself off.

How old is your battery? Keep in mind rechargeable Li-Ion batteries aren't meant to last more than a couple years, regardless of whether they've been used or not. If yours is as old as your camera, I think you know the answer. The good news is there are many inexpensive generic alternatives available these days. Some are very good, and vice versa. Research the buyer reviews before considering purchasing.

I need to put in the number 10 to the negative nine.

Hello,
If you have the [EE] key (sometimes labeled [Exp], or [times 10 to the x], you enter your expression as 1[EE](-9). If you do not have that key you can use the general power key [X to the y] or [Y to the x] or [^] depending on calculator 10[^](-9) = 0.000000001 or equivalently 1.0000x10^(-9)

EE or EXP are shortcuts for times 10 to the power.
Hope it helps.

Blackberry curve 8320 wont charge? Keep sayin battery drained, shutting down handheld

Have you tried different chargers?
It's either the voltage regulator in your curve or a very weak almost dead battery.
You can test the batt if you have a friend with a curve, swap batteries in your phones and if yours works again and his does what yours did, get a new battery and all is well. If yours keeps acting up with the swapped battery, it may be time to get a new phone.

I keep getting EE no matter what I do.

PLEASE make sure that your monitor is over your artery, there should be a small plastic part that will tell you that that is where it need to hit your artery for the EE to go away. IF that does not work, and I am sure it will, but I have heard, never even experienced it, but have heard that a LOW battery can trigger it, but again, in 15 years, never heard of it..... Guy... OH, let me know if you need any more help, glad to be here for you...
