Hi I have an Asko D3350, and have an 'F7' problem, can anyone help. Starts all wash programs then stops half way through with f7 showing. but the pump and discharge hose is clear. If it means anything it...

At the bottom of the dish washer where the water drains from there is a rectangular hole at the back (you will need to remove all the baskets and the screen). Grease can accumulate here and block the tube that feeds a pressure switch, causing this malfunction. This grease will not be visible as it sits under a lip on the other side of the rectangular hole and above it. This would need to be removed carefully as one doesn't want to push the grease into this tube

Asko 3350 Dishwasher

The "F7" code means that the drain is blocked. To remove items from the drain: 1.Turn power to unit off. 2. Remove the "Coarse Filter" by squeezing the tabs together and lifting out. 3. Remove the "Fine Filter" and "Main Filter" by removing the screws around the filters and lifting them out. 4.Remove the small black adapter piece and check the sump area for debris. 5.Wash the filters out gently with hot, soapy water. DO NOT RUN THE UNIT WITHOUT THE FILTERS IN PLACE! 6.Replace the black adapter piece to its original position FIRST (Important!). 7.Replace the filters in reverse order of removal and turn the unit back on. The error code should reset and work normally. *In areas with hard-water, the filters should be removed every 8-12 months and submerged in a chemical solution (CLR or LimeAway) to remove mineral deposits. Hope this helps...

Steve, according to the codes listed on http://www.repairclinic.com/0078.asp apparently F7 is a bad door latch. It could be just not shutting fully or maybe one of the springs/rods needs looking at.

Is there anything recently that may have happened to the door? Slamming, jarring, etc.

F4 Fault indication

F4 is a water inlet fault. It doesn't make sense if you have this fault indication with water flowing into the unit. Does the dishwasher drain properly? Usual suspects for an F4 indication would be a clogged inlet line, water supply turned off, bad fill valve, or a control board failure. Let me know if this helps, or give me a little more information on what you have done to correct so far.
