I also purchased a Magnavox 2GB MP3 from FactoryDirect, no manual as well. could you please help!

The MSA2025 is a neat little player - you just pop off the cap, and the usb connecter is directly attached to the device. So, no more cords. The reset is simply to remove and reinsert the batteries. It can work with Windows XP or Vista, and it is compatible with Windows Media Player 11. I would go ahead and upgrade the firmware at the first sign of trouble, because my friend, who is a Magnavox tech, had her share of problems with this one before upgrading the firmware. The only drawback of this player is that it is not compatible with DRM-protected WMA files - so it won't be compatible with Napster, Bearshare, Leap Frog, and many others. It is not compatible with iTunes. Rhapsody's Mp3-Only service will work, as will Mp3's from Limewire, Morpheus, etc. I would only use mp3 files with this device.
I would reccomend using Windows Media Player 11 to Sync songs to your Mp3 player, but you can also drag and drop using Windows Explorer - just drop the files in the Music folder of the Magnavox.
The manual can be found at:

The Magnavox website also has the "Magnavox Device Manager" - which is the same as a Philips Device Manager but with a different logo.
