Please advise of further info. All the connected PC's are running on XP. One is not connecting to the network. Sounds like the "Local Area Network" setting needs to be set for "Automatically assign an IP". Go to the start menu, select "Run" and type in "CMD". Type "IPCONFIG" and enter. This will display your network setting and IP address. If there is no IP address, then you will enever have a connection. If the IP address is listed, it will display a unique IP address, a subnet of 255.255.255.0 and the ip address of the gateway. Please respond with any further.

Connect the device to a different usb port. Download the newest software/drivers from the Belkin web site. Remove the old software and install the newest downloaded version. Please supply the error.

You should be aware of a class action lawsuit that Belkin and the complaintent settled recently. The lawsuit was filed complaining that certain Belkin routers did not obtain optimal speeds as advertised.
Belkin has agreed to provide affected customers a discount program to purchase a new router. You will need to search elsewheres for the details.
SOURCE: restored factory settings on pc & cant re -instal belkin adaptor
The Belkin site has very specific instructions for installing this adapter in a pc with Vista. These instructions are at: http://www.belkin.com/support/article/?lid=en&pid=F5D9050&aid=6112&scid=0
I would first unistall any Belkin Software that has already been installed, shut down the system completely and then restart. After you have fully restarted the system then follow the Belkin Site instructions EXACTLY. Any variation is apt to mean an unsuccessful install. Good Luck and have patience.

Hi brianandmarj, we want to help you with your question, but we need more information from you. Can you please add details in the comment box?
Do your computers have ethernet networking capability ?
If yes !
You could use one of thesehttp://www.tp-link.com/ca/products/detai...
To convert usb2 for the hl-5340 to ethernet and then feed the ethernet into a 6 port network switch that you also plug all the computers into.
Then give the Ethernet to USB2 adapter an ip address and each computer an ip address unless its getting this from a DHCP server in your router and then set up each p.c for the printer to print to this ip address in the printer port settings.
