You can un-check the locked option on the pictures by using the get info option on each image file. This is done through the Finder on a Mac. Alternately, if they are in the Trash: If an item in the Trash is locked, press the Option and Shift keys when you choose Empty Trash to delete it.

you may have inadvertently set up a keyboard short cut on the delete key... go to your system preference app in the dock. Then select keyboard shortcuts... if you select "default" at the bottom of the window it will revert to the factory shortcuts and eliminate any you may have accidentally created...
Hope that solves your delete issue...

Fortunately when using GMail and the Mail application, the solution is exceedingly easy: just delete and recreate the account. All of your messages are stored on Google's servers so you won't lose anything.
To delete the account: Mail > Preferences > Accounts, select account in column on left, click minus icon at bottom of column.
Then re-add by clicking the plus icon next to it and entering your information.

Which category is the notebook folder on the left under? Mailboxes? Smart Mailboxes? Reminders?
It is under "AOL", just above the "Saved" folder. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1701631/Screen%2...
I also realized that when I disable my AOL account in the Mail app, the "Notebook" folder is gone. So, even though I cannot see it when I login in a web browser, it seems that the "Notebook" folder is on the server:http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1701631/Screen%2...
Any ideas?
