Looking for Parts for Gas cooktop in New Zealand

Go to the Sears parts site.They have a partial lisy.

If you have parts of the cooktop not working I would replace it with a new one of your choice.

Turn off the gas,unplug the power.
Take the cooktop out of the cutout and support it on the countertop.
Remove all grates and valve knobs.
Remove all screws from the valves and the burners.
Remove the burner base plates.
You may have screw on the side holding the top to the base,if so,remove these too.
The top will separate from the bottom exposing your parts.

well i exactly do no no where these parts are located but u can cal autozone and ask for help with these parts

Hardware store or appliance store that has a parts department.

You have a gas stove? Lift the grate, drop it in. Electric stove? Pull the burner up and away from the plug (look down at the burner, there are two pieces that go probably toward the center of the stove). Same as gas, drop the tray and reinsert the prongs into the plug.

sound like you are on the right track if you have found the screws under the burner caps. some of those types has a big brass nut. some of them you have to remove the unit and access from underneath. send picture of what you are looking at if you like. good luck

theres a part in the cooktop called a spark modual. replace it. when i goes bad the problem your having is what it causes
