How to replace Bad Capacitors on a Mitsubishi WD-62525?

I need help PLEASE!!!!. I am trying to troubleshoot my TV. I just replaced the lamp suspecting that was the cause of blue screen with white round cloud in the middle. Based on some of forums I read, replacing buldging caps on the power board might solve the problem. I've opened the rear of the TV and stuck with how to get to the power board. Please give expert opinion and instruction on how to get to the power board. I appreciate any help you can give.
Thanks in advance.

I have a mitsubishi wd-62525 the power light keeps blinking, and i can't get picture. i unpluge it than want 2min than it stop blinking and i can turn to tv on and get a picture than after 30-40mi

Good day!!!!

That problem is usually cause of faulty capacitors on the power supply board..

Just follow this instruction to fix your TV..

1. Open the back cover of your TV.
2. Look at the power supply board..Its normally connected to the power cord..
3. After that,,try to look at the actual image of capacitors if it is bulged on the top so that you can easily determine the bad capacitors..
4. After that,,try to replaced the bad capacitors using soldering iron and soldering lead..replaced the capacitors only with the same type ratings and value..
5. Some of the capacitors not bulged so its better if have a capacitance meter

My tv went off an red light is blinkin

The red light indicates that the lamp has failed to light. You need a new lamp or the capacitors on PWB-Power need to be replaced. Try getting a new lamp first.

Tv starts to turn on then red light comes on and tv turns off

The red light indicates the lamp has has failed to light. You might just need a new lamp. If replacing the lamp does not solve your problem then the capacitors on PWB-Power need to be replaced or the lamp ballast itself has gone bad.

I have WD 62525 timer blinks very rapidl but wont turn on or off

HOwdy;
Try unplugging TV from a/c for 2- 3 minutes. Plug back in, turn TV on. If red light turns on (Lamp may light and go out) suspect bad lamp part # 915P020010.

Good Luck, Big Irish.

Mitsubishi wd-62525 sound will come on but no picture.

Your tv would turn on if you replace the only two 3300µf@16v capacitors on the power board . You wil notice they are bad by the way they bulge up at the top and may be leaking electrolyte a little from the tops . But the rolling lines would still remain but much less noticable. Then other symptoms will eventually appear. Truth is many many many many other capacitors need to be replaced inside the electrical chassis. Your TV would need to go to a repair shop that is expierienced in that repair because it is so extensive.

Tv totally black, with the red light of lamp on.

sounds like the 34 error which is caused by the power board capacitors. you can get the repair kit that should repair that issue. The kit contains the replacement capacitors and step by step instructions. Heres a link to the repair kit for your model.

Timer light did not stop flash

Lamp is not the issue. It most likely is a your DM card. You most likely have some capacitors that need to be replaced. This is a terrible issue with this unit. Do a google search for "DM" and the model number and you should see hundreds of posts.
